Where Your Support Goes
Project Día por Día is a self-supported journey, and many of the costs come directly out of pocket.
Your support helps cover essential parts of the expedition, including:
• travel to the start of the route
• food and daily living expenses during the ride
• bike maintenance and equipment
• camping and occasional lodging
• documenting and sharing the journey
Because I live with an ostomy, I also need to carry several months’ worth of medical supplies with me. Due to the amount required for a journey of this length, many of these supplies are not covered by insurance and must be paid for out of pocket. Each pouch lasts me 3-4 days
